Special K Bars

Ingredients

• 2 Cups Light Kayro Syrup
• 2 Cups White Sugar
• 1 (16 oz.) Jar or 2 cups Creamy Peanut Butter
• 1 Small Box Special K or Rice Krispie Cereal
• 1 Stick Butter
• 1 Bag Butterscotch Chips
• 1 Bag Milk Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Step 1

In a pan on the stovetop add the kayro syrup and white sugar and heat until the sugar is dissolved but DO NOT boil. Once the sugar has been dissolved, remove the pan from the heat and add the peanut butter and stir until melted. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the cereal and stir well to combine. Press into a jelly roll pan.

In a microwave safe dish, add the butter, butterscotch chips, and milk chocolate chips and microwave until melted, stirring occassionally.

Spread the chocolate mixture over the cereal and place in the refrigerator until set.

Cut into bars and serve.
