Sour Cream Apple Pie

- 1/2 pie crust
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 large egg
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 6 medium Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored, thinly sliced
- 6 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1 c. all-purpouse flour
- 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400. Roll out dough disk to a 12 in round; ease into a 9 inch pie plate. Trim; crimp edges. Chill for 1 hour.
Whisk together sour cream, egg, lemon, juice and vanilla. Add apple slices to sour cream mixture and toss well. Spoon apple mixture into pie shell. Bake pie for 30 minutes; reduce oven temperature to 350 and bake for 20 minutes more.
Melt butter. Stir together flour, both sugars, walnuts, cinnamon and salt. Stir in melted butter. Crumble mixture on top of baked pie and bake until apples are tender, about 20 minutes longer. Allow to cool completely. Chill for 1 hour before serving.
