Ingredients

  • 2 packages Ramen noodles, plain flavor
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 2 bags broccoli slaw
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup green onion, finely chopped
  • 3/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Ramen seasoning packet

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet, melt the butter. Crush the Ramen noodles and cook in the butter until lightly browned.

In a large bowl, combine the slivered almonds, broccoli slaw, sunflower seeds and green onion. Use a salad spoon to combine. In a smaller bowl, combine the canola oil, brown sugar, vinegar and Ramen seasoning packet.

Pour the oil mixture into the slaw mixture and toss with the salad spoon until the slaw mixture is thoroughly covered with the oil mixture. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
