Ingredients

  • Directions:
  • 1 lb pork sausage
  • 2-3 T. flour
  • 1 pt. half and half divided
  • Fry sausage and remove to another dish, reserving drippings.
  • Stir flour in drippings, then add 1/2 pint of half and half and let simmer to make a white roux.
  • Mix sausage into white roux.
  • Add remaining pint of half and half to desired consistency; simmer slowly.
