Ingredients

• 5 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
• 2 1/2 cups sugar
• 1 pound butter
• 1 tablespoon molasses
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 3 eggs
• 1 cup pecans chopped

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, molasses, vanilla, Add dry ingredients, mix well. Roll and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight,

2. Slice thin, bake at 350 7 to 10 minutes. Watch burn easily.
