  • CAKE
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 cup soft butter (melted)
  • 2 eggs
  • Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • FROSTING
  • 2 Tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 Tablespoons cream
  • 4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar

Step 1

CAKE
1. Sift dry ingredients: sugar, flour, baking powder & salt
2. Put melted butter in measuring cup, add eggs and milk to = 1 cup
3. Mix liquid ingredients with dry, add vanilla
4. Pour into a 13 X 9 pyrex baking dish
5. Bake 350 degrees, 25 minutes

FROSTING
1. Bring all ingredients to a boil for 3-5 minutes, stir constantly
2. Let frosting cool, pour over cake
