- 1 lb. almond paste
- 7 oz. sugar
- ½ tsp. baking powder
- ¼ tsp. vanilla
- 1 oz. bread flour
- 4 oz. egg whites

Step 1
Beat the almond paste with sugar, and add powder, vanilla, and flour. Add the egg whites slowly, adding a little at a time, keeping the dough firm. Using an 827 sized tube, squeeze dough from a pastry bag. Place a cherry in the middle of each cookie and let dry 2 hours before baking.
