Ingredients

  • ■2 lbs. hamburger
  • ■3 eggs
  • ■1 C. grated carrots
  • ■1 C. onions, finely chopped
  • ■1 C. bread crumbs
  • ■1/2 C. V8 juice
  • ■1 tsp. salt
  • ■1 tsp. pepper
  • ■1/2 tsp. celery salt
  • ■1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • ■1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • ■1 C. water

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients, except the mushroom soup and water.
Place mixure into an ungreased 9x13x2-inch baking pan.
Spread mixure evenly and add the cup of water.
Bake for 1 hour.
Remove from oven, spread the can of cream of mushroom soup over the top, and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
