- Romain Lettuce
- 2 large garlic cloves, minced and crushed,
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise,
- pepper
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup red-wine vinegar

Preparation
Step 1
In a ceramic or glass bowl combine 2
large garlic cloves, minced and crushed,
1 tablespoon mayonnaise, and pepper to
taste and whisk in 1/2 cup vegetable oil
and 1/3 cup red-wine vinegar. Rinse, pat
dry, and tear into bite-size pieces 2 heads
of romaine and in a salad bowl combine
the lettuce with cup freshly grated
Parmesan or Romano. Pour the dressing
over the salad and toss the salad well.
