- Pastry shell
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup walnuts

Step 1
Line a 9-inch pie pan with pastry. Mix all the ingredients together, adding the nuts last. Pour into the pastry-lined pan. Bake in a 450 F oven for 10 minutes then reduce heat to 350 F and continue baking until the custard sets. Pie is ready when a knife inserted in the center of the filling comes out clean, approximately 30 to 40 minutes more.
