  • 3 yolks
  • 3 tbs. sugar
  • 3 tbs. heavy cream
  • 1 tsp. brandy
  • 1 ¼ - 1 ½ cups flour
  • Icing Sugar

Step 1

Beat yolks until light colored. Add sugar and cream and beat well. Blend in the brandy, and then add the flour, mixing well to make smooth dough. Roll dough to 1/16 inch thickness. Cut into strips 1 ½ inches wide and cut diagonally at 4 inch intervals. Make a slit crosswise in the center of each strip and slit to make a bow. Deep fry in 350 degrees oil until lightly browned, and cook and sprinkle with icing sugar
