Chocolate Mousse Pie

use either oreo pie crust or graham cracker crust in a spring form pan

Ingredients
- 12 oz. chocolate (10 semisweet & 4 bittersweet)
- 1 t.vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 3 3/4 c. chilled whipped cream
- 1/4 c. sugar

Preparation
Step 1
1. combine chocolate, vanilla and salt in food processor
2. bring 1 c. cream to boil in heavy sauce pan
3. run processor and gradually add cream to chocolate mixture until melted and smooth
alternately - heat up cream and add chocolate/vanilla and salt and mix until smooth
4. transfer to bowl and cool - stirring
5. beat 2 c. cream and sugar until stiff peaks
6. fold in chocolate mixture
7. pour mousse into prepared pie crust - chill for 6 hours
8. beat remaining 3/4 c. of cream into stiff peaks - put in pastry bag and pipe onto pie - can garnish with chocolate shavings
