Spinach Raita

Spinach raita is a refreshing yogurt based dish which is both tasty & nutritious.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach (palak)
  • 2 cups plain curd (yogurt)
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  • 1-2 minced green chillies
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1

1. Take fresh spinach. Cook it, drain as much water as possible, cool & chop
it finely.

2. Beat plain yogurt, add salt, cumin seeds powder, red chili powder & minced
green chilies.

3. Add cold Spinach & chill for 1/2 an hour before serving.

4. Garnish with cumin powder & red chili powder.

5. Spinach raita is ready to serve.
