Ingredients
- 8 ounces lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup uncooked rice
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups tomato juice
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 cups water

Step 1
Combine ground beef, rice, onion, 1/4 tsp. salt and pepper, add egg and mix well. Shape mixture by rounded tablespoons into balls.
Combine tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp salt, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil.
Drop meatballs into boiling juice mixture. Cover. Reduce heat to simmer and cook about 1 1/2 hours
