Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas/garbanzo beans
  • 1/4 cup Tahini (roasted sesame seed paste)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice, from about 1 large lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tea. salt, or more to taste
  • 1/2 tea. ground cumin
  • ground paprika as garnish

Step 1

In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini and lemon juice. Process 1-2 minutes. Scrape down the sides and add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.
