Ingredients
- ■1/2 C. finely chopped onion
- ■1 Tbs. butter
- ■2 med. tomatoes, peeled, seeded, cored, and chopped
- ■one 4-oz. can whole green chilies, seeded, rinsed, and chopped
- ■1/4 tsp. salt
- ■1 1/2 C. shredded cheddar cheese
- ■milk
- ■tortilla chips

Preparation
Step 1
In a medium skillet, cook onion in butter until tender. Stir in tomatoes, chilies, and salt. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Add cheese, a little at a time, stirring until cheese is melted. Stir in a little milk if mixture becomes too thick. Serve immediately with tortilla chips for dippers.
