Grandma Hunt's Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup shortening
• 2 eggs
• 2 cups molasses
• 2 cups sour milk
• 1 teaspoon soda in milk
• 7-8 cup flour
• 3 tablespoon soda in flour
• 4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 1/2 teaspoons cloves
• 1/2 teaspoon ginger
• 2 tablespoons all spice

Preparation

Step 1

Cream sugar and shortening
Add eggs, molasses, and milk
Mix spices with flour and add to mixture
Mix the evening before baking
Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes and frost with butter cream frosting
