Ingredients
- Filling:
- 12 tart shells baked
- 1 c. butter
- 4 tbsps. icing sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 2 cups chopped dates
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- Lemon juice

Preparation
Step 1
Simmer the above ingredients until the dates are of soft consistency. Cool, then fill the tart shells. Ice with butter icing. Serves 12.
