Ingredients
- 8 oz. bacon, diced
- 8 cups beef broth
- 1 1/2 pounds driend lentils
- 2 cups chopped ham
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 3/4 cup chopped celery
- 3/4 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dried marjoram
Preparation
Step 1
Heat skillet over medium heat until hot. Add bacon. Cook and stir until crisp. Transfer to 4 quart crock pot slow cooker using slotted spoon.
Add remaining ingredients. Cover; cook on low 8-10 hours or on high 6-8 hours, until lentils are tender.
