Ingredients

  • 8 oz. bacon, diced

  • 8 cups beef broth

  • 1½ pounds driend lentils

  • 2 cups chopped ham

  • 1 cup chopped carrots

  • ¾ cup chopped celery

  • ¾ cup chopped tomatoes

  • ½ cup chopped onions

  • 2 tsp. salt

  • 2 tsp. black pepper

  • ½ tsp. dried marjoram

Directions

Heat skillet over medium heat until hot. Add bacon. Cook and stir until crisp. Transfer to 4 quart crock pot slow cooker using slotted spoon. Add remaining ingredients. Cover; cook on low 8-10 hours or on high 6-8 hours, until lentils are tender.
