Ingredients
- 2 c all purpose flour
- 1 c morton salt
- 1 c water
- egg
- sesame and/or poppy seeds

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325-350.
Combine salt and flour in large, flat bottom bowl.
Add a little water at a time, mixing as you pour to form a ball.
Take care not to add too much water so dough becomes sticky.
Knead dough for 7-10 minutes until dough has a smooth, firm consistency.
To prevent drying, place dough in plastic bag.
Shape dough or cut with cookie cutters.
Add sesame or poppy seeds, if desired.
(Brush with egg so seeds stick.)
Bake at 325-350 on foil covered cookie sheet, allowing 30 minutes for each 1/4" thickness.
Poke hole with pin if dough puffs up and reduce heat.
Dry on screen.
