- Dry Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Wet Ingredients:
- 1 cup cold water
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil (I use grapeseed)
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- Chocolate Glaze:
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 5 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1
Cake:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Lightly grease bundt cake pan, then lightly dust with cocoa and set it aside.
Combine all of the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl until everything is well blended. Don't sift the cocoa and flour, but break any large chunks. Add the wet ingredients and stir until smooth.
Pour the batter into the cake pan and bake until a toothpick inserted comes out clean(about 30 minutes).
Leave the cake in the pan for 10 minutes on a wire rack.
Remove the cake from the pan and let it cool completely.
Glaze:
While your cake cooks, you can make your glaze.
In a small bowl, whisk together all the ingredients until smooth. Cover it and put it aside. When your cake is ready and cooled, pour your glaze over it. Before your cake is served, take the glaze that has fallen in the hole and spoon it over the cake.
Note:
Your cake will not rise as much as you expect.
