Ingredients

  • 1 C Butter
  • 2 Egg
  • 1/4 Tsp. Salt
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla
  • 2 1/2 C Flour
  • 1/4 Tsp. Nutmeg
  • 1 Tsp. Cream of tartar
  • 1/2 Tsp. Baking soda
  • 3/4 C Sugar
  • Creamy Almond Frosting
  • 1/2 C Butter
  • 1/2 Tsp. Almond flavoring
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla
  • 2 C Powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbl. Milk

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine butter/vanilla in med bowl. Beat w/mixer for 2min. Scrap bowl. Then add sugar taking about 1min to incorperate. Beat eggs in then stop & scrap bowl. Sift dry ingredients together. Gradually add dry ingredients.
2. Drop by tablespoon on greased cookie sheet about 2inch apart. Cook at 400F for 7-9min; until edges are lightly brown.

Creamy Almond Frosting
1. Place butter in bowl and beat.
2. Then add almond flavoring/vanilla then mix.
2. Add sugar 1/2 C at a time and mix. Then add milk and mix thourghly.
