Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Prepare the cake mix as directed on the package, except add enough water to 1/3 cup of lemonade concentrate to equal the amount of liquid called for on the cake mix. Pour the cake batter into the pan. Bake as directed on the cake mix box and cool for about 15 minutes. Mix remaining lemonade concentrate and powdered sugar. Beat until smooth. Prick the warm cake with a fork and then drizzle the lemonade mixture over the cake.

Variation:
Use a 12-ounce can of lemonade with 6-ounces used with the liquid to equal the amount called for in the cake recipe. Use the other 6-ounces of the thawed lemonade and 2 cups of powdered sugar mixed and drizzled over the cake.
