  • 2 pkg dry yeast
  • 2 c. warm water
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 1 T. salt
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 6-6 1/2 c. flour

Preparation

Step 1

dissolve yeast into water.
stir sugar, salt, and salad oil into 3 c. flour until smooth, then add rest of flour.
on floured board, knead 8-10 min; place in greased bowl and brush top with oil, let rise double (45 min.)
punch down & divide in half
put in greased pans, oil tops & let rise double (1 hour)
bake 400 degrees for 35 min or hollow sound.
