Ingredients

  • 1\4 cup butter , melted
  • 1\2 tsp salt
  • 1\4 tsp pepper
  • 1 21\2 -3 pound broiler fryer cut up
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes or crushed potato chips or
  • 1\2 cup fine dry breadcrumbs

Preparation

Step 1

Combine butter, salt and pepper
Brush chicken with butter mixture, then roll in cornflakes or potato chips or bread crumbs.
Place chicken , skin side up without touching in an ungreased , large shallow baking pan.
Bake at 375* till tender, about 50 to 60 minutes.
Do not turn, season to taste with salt.
