Variations:
Brown Sugar - Pecan: Substitute brown sugar for white. Add1/2 c chopped pecans
Bacon, Cheddar,Chive: Omit sugar add 3/4 c shredded sharp cheese, 1/4 c finely chopped bacon ,2 tbs chopped fresh chives, 1/4 tsp pepper
Ham and Swiss: Omit sugar, add 3/4 c shredded swiss and 1/4 c finely chopped baked ham
Pimento Cheese: omit sugar, add 3/4 c sharp cheddar and 3 tbs finely chopped pimento
Rosemary, Pear, and Asiago: Omit sugar, add 3/4 c finely chopped pear, 1/2 c shredded asiago, and 1 tsp fresh chopped rosemary

Ingredients
- 2 c all purpose flour
- 1/3 c sugar
- 1 tbs baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 c cold butter, cut into cubes
- 1 c whipping cream, divided
- wax paper

Step 1
Preheat oven 450*
Stir together first 4 ingredients, cut in butter with pastry blender. Add 3/4 c cream mix until moistened. Turn onto wax paper. Form into 7 inch round and cut into 8 wedges. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and brush tops with remaining cream. Bake13-15 minutes or until golden.
