Ingredients

  • 2 10 oz. packages of frozen broccoli
  • 3 medium onions cut into wedges 2 tbsp. Butter
  • 2 tbsp. Flour 1/4 tsp. Salt 1 cup milk
  • 1 3 ounce package cream cheese cut up Vz cup shredded cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine 1 cup soft breadcrumbs

Preparation

Step 1

Cook broccoli according to package Drain well set a side
Cook onions in boiling salt water abt 10 minutes or until tender In same saucepan melt 2 tbsp butter. Stir in flour salt and dash pepper. Add milk
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Add cream cheese stir till melted stir in broccoli and onions. Put into oven proof dish.
Melt remaining 2 tbsp butter toss with crumbs sprinkle over casserole. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 min.
