Ingredients

  • First Layer:

  • 2

    squares unsweetened baking chocolate

  • 1/2

    cup butter

  • 2

    eggs, beaten

  • 1

    cup sugar

  • 1/2

    cup flour

  • 1/2

    cup nuts

  • Second Layer:

  • 1 1/2

    cup powdered sugar

  • 3

    Tablespoons butter

  • 1 1/2

    Tablespoons Milk

  • 1

    teaspoon peppermint extract

  • Green food coloring

  • Third Layer:

  • 2

    squares semi-sweet baking chocolate

  • 2

    Tablespoons butter

Directions

Line 8x8 pan with aluminum foil. Spray with cooking spray Preheat oven to 350 In a saucepan melt chocolate and butter on low heat. Combine in mixing bowl with sugar and eggs. Add flour and nuts and combine well. Pour batter into pan Bake for 20-25 minutes. Let Cool. Second Layer: Mix all ingredients together. Spread onto cooled brownies. Third Layer: Mix together in a sauce pan. Pour on top of green frosting. Tilt pan back and forth to allow chocolate to cover entire pan in a very thin layer. Put the brownies in the freezer to harden. Take out of freezer and pull aluminum foil away. Cut into small squares. These freeze well.
