Ingredients
- 2 c flour
- 3/4 c vegetable shortening
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 7 tbsp ice water

Preparation
Step 1
Put flour, shortening, sugar and salt in bowl and beat at low speed until mixture comes together approx 30sec
Add 6 tbsp water and beat until absorbed, 30 sec
Transfer dough to piece of plastic wrap and refrigerate 30-60 min
Lightly flour work surface and roll out dough and transfer to pie pan. Tap pan gently and dough will fall into place
To blind bake bake in centre rack of oven preheated to 350F until crust is firm and golden, 25 min
