Ingredients
- 1 tbs. oil
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 small pepper, finely diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large celery stalk, finely diced
- 1 tsp. fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper
- 1 ¼ lbs. ground beef
- ½ cup chili sauce
- ½ cup water
- 3 tbs. Worcestershire sauce
- Hot red pepper sauce

Step 1
Heat oil over medium heat; add onion, pepper, garlic, celery, thyme, salt and pepper. Cook until the onion is softened, and browned, about 10 minutes. Remove the onion mix. Increase heat and add beef to the skillet, cook, breaking lumps until browned. Add the onion mix as well as the chili sauce, water, Worcestershire sauce, and hot pepper sauce. Simmer until the sauce thickens, about 15 minutes. Spoon mix onto rolls.
