Ingredients
- Filling:
- Prego pasta sauce with mushrooms (4lb, 3oz size)
- 1 cup Chianti red wine
- Sugar to taste
- Hamburger browned
- Crust:
- 12 oz. vermicelli, cooked and drained
- 1 clove of garlic- chopped
- 1/3 cup of butter
- 1 cup of Parmesan cheese grated
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 2 tbsp. of fresh basil
- Other:
- 2 cups of ricotta cheese
- 12 oz. of shredded mozzarella

Preparation
Step 1
To make crust, combined vermicelli with other crust ingredients. Chop mixture with a knife and press into 2 10 inch pie plates.
To make filling, simmer Prego, Chianti and sugar until flavors blend and the sauce is heated thoroughly.
To assemble pie: Spreak ricotta cheese on "crust" then top with a layer of sauce ("filling") and cover with mozzerella.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until golden brown
