  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 3/4 c light corn syrup
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Put first 4 ingred in pan. Use candy thermometer cook to 210F. Reduce heat continue cooking stirring constantly to 248F. Immediately remove from heat min in vanillia and nuts. Stir as little as possible. Cool until firm turn out on board if candy sticks to pan place over heat then try to remove. Cut into squares with sawing motion wrap pieces in wax paper. DO NOT SCRAPE SIDES OF PAN WHEN POURING OUT.
