Ingredients

  • 1 (7 oz.) Whole Green Chili, split (Ortega) seeds in-spicy, seeds out-less spicy
  • 4 oz. Jack Cheese
  • 6 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 T. flour
  • 1 t. baking powder
  • 1/2 t. garlic salt
  • 4 oz. Cheddar, shredded

Preparation

Step 1

Mix flour, baking powder, garlic salt, set aside.
In a 7x11 baking pan, split chilies and insert slices of jack cheese.
Combine flour mix with eggs and milk. Mix well and pour over chilies, top with cheddar.
30 minutes at 350f or when puffed and golden brown.
