Ingredients

  • 8 oz fresh mushrooms, cut into 1/4" slices (3 c)
  • 1/4 c margarine
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 8 oz fresh green beans (1" pieces)
  • 2 fresh carro

Preparation

Step 1

Heat 1" of water to boil in 2 qt saucepan.
Add beans and carrots and heat to boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally until tender (about 12 minutes).
Drain.
In 10" frying pan, cook and stir onion, mushrooms, and margarine until tender (about 5 minutes).
Reduce heat, cover, and cook for 3 minutes.
Stir in beans, carrots, garlic, salt, etc.
Cover and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
