Ingredients
- CHICKEN
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1/2 cup Shortening
- Paprika
- 1 cup White Sauce
- 1 egg
- DUMPLINGS
- 1/2 pound White Crackers
- 3/4 Cup Milk
- 1/2 Cup Flour
- 3 Eggs

Step 1
CHICKEN
1. Clean 4-6 chicken breasts
2. Melt butter/shortening together and brown chicken
3. Remove & discard grease
4. Add water almost to cover chicken, cover and cook 1 hr. on Low Heat
5. Remove stock from pan, set aside
6. Make white sauce (Small amount of Flour & Butter and then 1 cup Milk, stir constantly).
7. Stir in 1 egg yolk, a little at a time
8. Add white sauce to chicken, season with paprika, salt and pepper. If too thick, thin with stock.
9. Serve over CRACKER DUMPLINGS
DUMPLINGS
1. Roll crackers in a plastic, sealed bag
2. Add flour, milk and eggs
3. Form into (4) balls
4. Boil for 20 minutes
5. Remove from pot, slice in half
Doulbles easlily. OK to make ahead, freeze and steam.
