  • 10 leaves collard greens - rinsed, trimmed and chopped
  • 1 head cabbage, sliced
  • 1 can fire-roasted diced tomatoes, un-drained
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • red tobacco sauce to taste
  • onion powder
  • garlic powder
  • Cajun seasoning
  • olive oil

Step 1

Heat olive oil over medium-high head. Add sliced onions and carmelize. Add chopped collard greens and cabbage. Cook down until close to carmelized. Add seasonings. Transfer to slow cooker and add tomatoes. re-season to taste. Cook on low heat until ready to serve.
