Safari Crispix® Crunch

This chocolate-coated delightful snack is just too tempting. You might want to store some out of sight, so it doesn't disappear all at once!

Ingredients

• 1 package (6 oz., 1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
• 1/4 cup peanut butter
• 1/2 cup peanuts, yogurt-cover raisins, dried cranberries, butterscotch chips or flaked coconut
• 6 cups Kellogg's® Crispix® cereal
• 1 cup powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

1. In small, heavy saucepan melt chocolate morsels over low heat, stirring constantly. Stir in peanut butter and peanuts.

2. In large bowl pour chocolate mixure over KELLOGG'S CRISPIX cereal. Stir until evenly coated.

3. Place powdered sugar in 2-gallon, zipper-type, plastic bag. Add cereal mixture. Close bag and gently toss until evenly coated. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.


MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS
1. In large microwave safe bowl melt chocolate at high for 1 1/2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Stir in peanut butter and peanuts. Add KELLOGG'S CRISPIX cereal. Stir until evenly coated. Continue as directed in step 3 above.
