Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine or butter, softened
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup green and red mini M&M's

Step 1
1. In large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat first 8 ingredients until blended, occasionally scraping bowl with rubber spatula. Reduce speed to low; add flour and beat just until combined.
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Drop dough by heaping tablespoons, about 2 inches apart, on ungreased large cookie sheet. Top each cookie with about 6 to 8 mini M&M's, gently pressing them into dough.
3. Bake cookies 15 to 20 minutes, until lightly browned. With pancake turner, transfer cookies to wire rack to cool completely. Repeat with remaining dough. Store cookies in tightly covered container.
