Preparation
Step 1
In a large pot or skillet, brown sausage, onion, green pepper and mushrooms. In the mean time, cook the pasta until al dente. After the sausage is brown, I like to spoon out some of the grease. Reduce the pot to low and add sour cream and cream cheese. Add garlic, pepper, and oregano. Blend together until it forms a sauce mixture. Spray a large baking pan with non-stick spray. Add the pasta first, then the mixture. Pour the spaghetti sauce over the mixture. Top off with the cheeses. Bake at 350 degrees for at least an hour. You can reduce the heat to 275 degrees and cook for several more hours. Let cool 15 minutes before serving. Serve with parmesan cheese and garlic bread.
