Ingredients
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1 cup or 8 ounces semisweet chocolate
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting

Step 1
In a medium sauce pan, combine the sugar, chocolate and heavy cream. Cook over medium heat until chocolate mixture comes to a full boil.
Temper, or slowly pour, the eggs into the hot chocolate mixture. Add vanilla extract and stir. Next, pour mixture into ramekins. Cover and chill overnight.
Remove cover and lightly dust with powdered sugar.
Makes 8 servings.
