Ingredients

  • 8 oz. spaghetti pasta
  • 1 l b. lean ground beef
  • 1 cup frozen diced onions
  • 1/4 cup frozen diced bell peppers
  • 3 large eggs ((or 3/4 cup substitute eggs)
  • 1 teaspoon diced oregano leaves
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups Mozzarella/Provolone Shredded cheese, Divided
  • 1 (24-ounce) jar Bertolli Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Kraft 100% Parmesan Cheese, Divided

Preparation

Step 1

Bring water to boil for pasta. Preheat oven to 400°F.

Combine in large bowl: beef, onions, peppers, 1 egg, oregano, seasoned salt, and garlic powder until blended. Spread mixture evenly in 13- x 9-inch baking dish (wash hands).

Drain pasta thoroughly (do not rinse). Whisk remaining 2 eggs in medium bowl; stir in 1/2 mozzarella cup cheese until blended. Add pasta; toss to coat. Spread pasta evenly over meat mixture. Pour pasta sauce over top. Sprinkle with remaining 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese. Bake 30–35 minutes and until meat is 165°F and fully cooked. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve.
