Ingredients
- 3 T. oil
- 2 lb. beef stew meat, cut into small cubes
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 1 t. salt
- 1/2 t. garlic powder
- 1/2 t. marjoram leaves
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 28 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 1 can beef broth
- 2 c. peeled potatoes
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 4 medium carrots, sliced
- 2 small onions, quartered
- 1 bay leaf

Preparation
Step 1
Brown the stew meat in oil and then mix the cornstarch, salt, garlic, garlic powder, marjoram, and pepper together and add to the meat. Stir in tomatoes and beef broth; mix well. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring frequently. Put in a crock pot. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Cook at low for about 5-6 hours. Stir a couple of times.
