Ingredients
- CRUST:
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- ¾ cup melted butter
- 2 T. sugar
- CREAM CHEESE LAYER:
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
- JELLO LAYER:
- 1 (6 oz.) strawberry jello
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 or 2 (10-oz.) frozen strawberries
- 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple (drained)

Step 1
Combine crushed pretzels, melted butter and sugar. Press into a 9x13” pan and bake 8 minutes at 400°; take out of oven and let cool while you prepare the next layer.
Blend cream cheese and powdered sugar until light and smooth; gently fold Cool Whip into cream cheese mixture; after this mixture is well blended, spread over cooled crust. Put in the refrigerator while you prepare the last layer.
Dissolve jello in the two cups of boiled water. Stir until jello is dissolved; add strawberries; blend and then refrigerate until it is softly jelled. Spoon over cream cheese layer. Put in the refrigerator until jello is set.
