Ingredients
- 3 yellow onions, sliced in rings
- 5 lb beef brisket
- 1 bottle (12 oz) chili sauce
- 1 package onion soup mix
- 1/2 bottle Merlot (the cheaper the better)

Preparation
Step 1
Spread half of onions in roasting pan; lay brisket on top. Mix sauce, soup and wine; pour over meat; top with rest of onions. Cover and bake at 375F for 4 hours. Remove; bring to room temperature. Slice and pour remaining juices over. Cook 2 hours more before serving.
