Ingredients

  • GLAZE:
  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 T. poppy seeds
  • 1 1/2 t. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 1/2 t. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 t. almond extract
  • 1 1/2 t. butter extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 t. vanilla, butter & almond extract

Preparation

Step 1

Combine dry ingredients. In smaller bowl, beat eggs slightly, add milk, oil & extracts. Combine dry & liquid ingredients together; blend well. Bake at 325 for 60-65 minutes.

For Glaze put all ingredients in saucepan and bring to boil. When bread is completly cool, put glaze on bread, let set 5 minutes, remove from pans.
