Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, extract, food color and egg until soft dough forms. Stir in creme de menthe baking chips and chocolate chunks.
• Using small cookie scoop or teaspoon, drop dough 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
• Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Cool 3 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Serve warm or cool completely. Store tightly covered at room temperature.

Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, extract, food color and egg until soft dough forms. Stir in creme de menthe baking chips and chocolate chunks.

For even baking, make sure cookies are of the same shape and size.

Yummy! I have gotten rave reviews from these cookies. I made two batches - the first I melted the butter and the second I just softened the butter as the recipe instructs. The dough held together much better with the melted butter. You can make these with chocolate chips instead of chocolate chunks too.

These cookies were a hit at my Christmas party! They were absolutely delicious! Even three days later, my sister-in-law called and asked for more cookies. I promised I would make another batch soon. This is definitely a recipe keeper!
