Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. Beef round, 1/2 inch strips.
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2 teas. salt
  • 1/2 teas. pepper
  • 1/2 teas. dry mustard
  • 2 med. onions, thinly sliced and separated into rings
  • 2 cans (4 oz.) mushrooms drained or 1/2 pd. fresh, sliced
  • 1 can (10 1/2 oz.) condensed beef broth
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine (opt.)
  • 1 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • hot buttered noodles
  • 3 tab. chopped parsley

Preparation

Step 1

Cut meat into 3-inch strips about 1/2 inch wide. Combine 1/2 cup flour, salt, pepper, and dry mustard, coat strips. Place strips into Pot; stir in onion rings and mushrooms. Add broth and wine, Cover and cook low. Before servings, combine sour cream with 1/4 cup of flour. Serive over hot buttered noodles or rice, garnish with parsley.
