Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tbsp plus 1.5 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp plus 1.5 tsp sugar
- 6 tbsp butter, room temp, cut into pieces
- 2/3 cup heavy cream
- 2/3 cup half and half

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375. Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Add butter to flour, cut in with a pastry cutter. Pour heavy cream into center of flour, stir together until a ball forms.
Knead 2-3 times to bring together. Do not overwork. Roll to 1 inch thick. Dip 2.5 inch cutter in flour, then cut dough. Repeat, re-roll scraps and re-cut. Put biscuits on a sheet pan lined with parchment. Brush tops with half and half, sprinkle with sugar.
Bake up to 20 minutes.
