Pasta Salad

This is a recipe that was given to us by Rich Shepherd. He added celery to his recipe but we do not usually add it to the recipe when we make it.

Ingredients
- 5 oz. Swanson's Chunk Chicken in water
- 1/2 of a 16 oz. box of Angel Hair Pasta ( or 2 cups Elbow Noodles)
- 3 - 4 Tbsp mayonnaise (or Miracle Whip)
- 2 stalks of green onion, chopped (about 1/4 - 1/3 cup)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 - 2 stalks celery, chopped (optional)

Step 1
Cook the pasta/macaroni noodles according to the package instructions; Drain. Place the pasta in a medium bowl. Add the mayonnaise/Miracle Whip, salt, green onions, and celery. Drain the chicken and shred the chicken chunks. Add the shredded chicken to the bowl and toss thoroughly to evenly distribute the chicken and mayonnaise mixture throughout the salad. Chill the pasta in the refrigerator for 2 - 4 hours or overnight. Serve the pasta salad with chicken, pork, or fish. This recipe is also good served at a picnic.
